Can you just change the format to mp3?
Or in iTunes, try to convert it to mp3 or wav.
If that doesn't work, mail it to me PM.

alright, i downloaded a song on iTunes, and i want to burn it to a cd. I'm using Roxio 5, and soundstream doesn't recognize it as a music file because it's an ".m4p" file.
someone help me before my hatred of the apple becomes even more concrete

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">iTunes lets you burn directly to a cd though. I'm guessing what you're saying is you don't want to burn a CD with just one song on it.Originally posted by Biohazard:

One option is to add any other Mp3's (not m4p's) to your iTunes library/play list so you can burn a full-length disc from there. (and if you ever need mp3's of those itunes-purchased songs you can always just rip the tracks off the burned disc of course)
I dunno any ways to convert the files or what other programs can burn m4p's. Windows Media Player might be able to burn them, but I haven't tried that myself yet.
create a new playlist in itunes and add that song to the playlist - along with any other songs you want on the cd. then click on that playlist in the itunes browser and the Burn Disc icon will show up in the top right hand corner of the gui. then burn that shit!
